LED VU Meter Circuit

http://circuitdigest.com

We have built a Volume Meter or VU meter, with the help of MIC, OP-AMP and LM3914, which glows the LEDs as per strength of the sound, if sound is low, lesser LEDs will glow, and if sound is High more LEDs will glow, check the Video at the end. VU meter also serves as a volume measurement device.

Clap Switch using Arduino

http://circuitdigest.com

In this project we are going to make Clapper circuit using the concept of ADC (Analog to Digital Conversion) in ARDUINO UNO. We are going to use a MIC and Uno to sense the sound and trigger a response. This Clap ON Clap OFF switch basically turns ON or OFF the device, by using the clap sound, as switch

ADC0808 Interfacing with 8051 Microcontroller

http://circuitdigest.com

ADC is the Analog to Digital converter, which converts analog data into digital format; usually it is used to convert analog voltage into digital format. Analog signal has infinite no of values like a sine wave or our speech, ADC converts them into particular levels or states, which can be measured in numbers as a physical quantity.
