DIY Binary Clock

https://lithostech.com

A binary clock is hardly a new idea, but this particular concept is something I haven’t seen anywhere else. And it was idling in the back of my mind for over a decade before finally seeing a working prototype.

Audio Amplifier with Salvaged Parts

http://www.instructables.com

This Instructable is the project I built with a schematic from the IC datasheet and some parts I removed from an old CB radio. Before I call the project completed, I need to add a heat-sink to the amplifier IC and some vent holes in my project box. But as it is right now the amplifier works and sounds great.

Basic Electronics

http://www.instructables.com

Getting started with basic electronics is easier than you might think. This Instructable will hopefully demystify the basics of electronics so that anyone with an interest in building circuits can hit the ground running. This is a quick overview into practical electronics and it is not my goal to delve deeply into the science of electrical engineering.

Op-amp Circuits

http://www.facstaff.bucknell.edu

The integrator does just what the name implies. It integrates - in the calculus sense - the input signal to produce the output signal. There is a scaling factor and a minus sign again, but that's pretty much what happens.

Transistor Schmitt Trigger

http://www.daycounter.com

The Schmitt-trigger is a circuit which creates hystereses and which is useful in digitizing an analog signal into a digital signal of either high or low. The hystereses makes inputs more immune to noise. The input must surpass a low threshold voltage before the output goes low, and likewise the input must exceed a high level threshold before the output goes high.

UNDERSTANDING CURRENT, VOLTAGE AND POWER

http://www.smps.us

The purpose of electronic circuits is to control the flow of electric currents. This may sound like a silly question, but why do we need to control the currents? Well, it has been found experimentally that the intensity of various electrical effects is related to the amount of the charge Q that passes by a certain region per unit time.

Darkness Detector Circuit Diagram

http://circuitdigest.com

Darkness detector is simply a LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) interfaced square wave generator. In this project the square wave generator is developed as a 555 Timer IC based ASTABLE MULTIVIBRATOR. Before going any further we must get the basic details on the LDR. The figure below shows an image of various types of LDR.
